Walking In The Rain

Hello there fellow bloggers.

Well yesterday was an interesting day, I went out with my fellow work colleagues to Henley -In-Arden. We were planned to go on a 2 mile walk *is shocked i was considering walking that far* and then off to a local pub (The Black Swan) for a meal nad a few drinks.

Well trust the English weather, the rain was hammering down. Anyway me and Kieron met up at 10.30 as planned on the pub car park, where i was greeted by Paul who was already soaked. Me and Kieron and a few others decided not to do the walk (as we like to be warm and dry). Anyway the rest of the group went.

Me and Kieron sat in the car, listened to the radio for a bit and when the pub opened at 12, we sat in there waiting for the group to get back.

Finally 12.45 and they all piled into the pub, ready for the first round of drinks. We were then sat at our tables we had booked and we ordered the food. I had a chicken curry and Kerion enduldged himself in a Roast Beef Sunday Dinner (he also had his mums Roast Chicken dinner waiting for him at home which he polished off when we got back).

A good time was had by all, i meet some of the guys partners which was nice 'cos ive only ever spoken to them on the phone.

Later that afternoon i was going over to Emily's to celebrate her blessing. Unfortunatley (if Emily or Rosey are reading this - i'm really sorry i missed out!) i did not make it. The pub afternoon with work went on longer than i thought, i didn't get back to mine until 6 and iu was to meet Emily at 7, plus i have to see my nan on Sundays so it wud have been really late.

But i have a prezzie for her and i will meet up with Em and Rosey next week sometime.
