Ow - My Eye!!!!

Hello again

Well time for another update!!

So where shall i start, hmmm, ah yes....I went back to work on the Tuesday after the Bank Holiday, there wasn't much to do and it was pretty much like that all week.

Wednesday i called round dad's house because he had some typing he wanted me to do. I was there for about an hour before going home.

Thursday i had a phone call from Carcraft to say that the car was back on site and whenever i was ready i could come down. Well i have already decided i want the car but because i'm having it on finance i need two proof's of address, so i am waiting for my bank statement or my new water bill (which i have both requested!) to come through the post which will be hopefully end of this week/beginning of next!!!!

Friday was a good night, Gareth, Carl and John came round the flat again to play on the xbox. We watched the first half of the friendly between England and Brazil, which i thought was a very good game especially with the fianl result being 1-1. The lads started off with Guitar Hero 2 and then finished off with Halo 3 Beta! We had a couple of beers and a laugh, but it was getting on for 1am so the guys left and i went straight to bed.

Saturday was a bit of a busy day, me and Kieron spent the morning tidying up the flat before going to do the shopping, when we got back it was coming up to 1.30pm and my nan and grandad arrived to take me to mums.

Grandad decided to help mum fix her dishwasher that has been broken for the last month so whilst they were doing that, me and Gareth went to Kings Heath so i could pick up some cheap boots for our day on Sunday!!!!!

When we got back, grandad had opened our afternoon bottle of wine. Nan and Grandad left about 5pm as me and Gaz were going out. We had been invited over to Andy and Lorraines, for a bit of a get-together! We quickly popped back to my flat so i could pick some stuff up and then we set off!

We got there just before 6pm and Andy settled us in with a drink. Sophie and her boyfriend Grant was there and Lindsey had come up for the weekend. It was really nice to see her again, she's such a nutter. Shortly after Dad arrived on his Goldwing!

We decided to sit outside as it was a gorgeous, sunny afternoon. We were out tehre most of the night untill Andy wanted to show us the video from our Ski holiday. It's been 2 months since we went and already there were bits i had forgotten about. We had a great laugh watching the video as there were some classic parts! But it was getting quite late and me and Gareth had to be up early the next morning...why?......

....because we were going paintballing!!!!!

Sunday morning arrived too quickly, me and Kieron were up early so we could get a decent breakfast before we set off. We got to Gareth's about 7.40am and we quickly drove off.
Unfortunately the directions Gareth had got off the internet decided to send us the long way round but with a bit of navigation from Kieron and driving skill from Gareth me made it on time at 9am.

We went to a place called SAS Paintball which was in Wolverhampton, we had never been there before. We had been invited there by John Hands (one of the original skiing crew!) who we hadn't seen since my birhtday last year, everyone were quickly arriving. Theer was roughly about 30 of us and of them the only people i knew were John, his sister Michelle and his Dad Brian, Pete Twist and a guy called Colin (who comes to Ladies night and for some reason i think his name's Tony!).

We were quickly issued with our overalls and equipment which was followed by our brief safety instructions, we then had 5 mins to get ourselves sorted before going out to our first game.

Now unfortunatley our day was a little ruined by 2 things: 1 - the other team (Green) were obviously cheating Gareth, Kieron and even John had witnessed them wiping off the paint and carrying on and 2- the Marsahll's didn't do a thing about it!

The places we have been to before the Marshall's hate people who cheat and give a fair punishment to anybody who does but not these guys!! Also there was one match where we were indoors and i had to go one on one with the opposition, but fair enough he got me first and as i was walking away as a "dead" player, he fired straight at me which got me right on my mask. It really did stun me for a few minutes because i jsut wasn't expecting it, Kieron was very annoyed and wanted to find out who it was htat did it, but we never did!

We did have a good day though, apart from coming away with bruises galore and aching muscles!!! We left at about 3.30pm and went home (which we went a much easier and simplier route!). Gareth came round to the flat for a bit with his xbox and played a Star Trek game before going to see nan as usual!!
