And So It Continues....

Hello there bloggers,
Well then, after i left you with my last blog about ladies night etc. My birthday week(s) didn't stop there.
Last Monday (20th) I returned back to work as normal, i started checking my emails and i had received one from Peter and David (the partners!) asking everyone to stop by for a drink after work. This was very unusual, Peter and David have never invited us all for a drink and even if they had they would have most likely had one at lunch.
I accepted the invite along with everyone else, we were going next door to the Tarnished Halo. A while later Adam came downstairs to speak to me. He thought there was something going on and that they would be announcing something at the pub. This got me thinking, but i didn't see why they would take us for a drink instead of just telling us all at work.
The day came and went and we all flooded to the pub. We sat at two large tables and David bought the first round (i had a Murphy's as they don't sell Guiness!)
During the course of our first round, Mikey struck up courage to ask why we had decided to come for a drink, with a smile on his face Peter told everyone that he didn't get chance to come to my party as he had already accepted another invite, with which he felt rather guilty and decided to bring everyone out for a drink to celebrate my 21st!!!
I felt really honored!! We were chatting away, Me, Peter and Malcolm were talking about skiing for most of the evening, Peter then decided to get a second round in (i actually wanted to go home as i was knackered and wanted to see Kieron, but felt i had to stay as this was all organised for me!)
I finished my 2nd pint and decided to leave. I said goodbye to everyone and made way to catch the 50 bus to get home!
The rest of the week was quite dull, but finally the weekend arrived (about bloody time!).
Saturday, me and dad were going down to London as dad had bouht me tickets to 'The Phantom of the Opera' on stage! I was very excited, as i've always wanted to see it. We set off about 8.45 and were down in London for about 10.30. We awent and parked our car at Irene's flat. I haven't seen in in ages so we had a good catch up. She made us a cuppa and some toast, but before we knew it it was now 11.30. Me and dad had to get our skates on!
We went down to Richmond trai station and made our way to Covent Gardens. We had a good look round all of the christmas stuff, and there is always acts and small street performances going on there. We spent about an hour there, but then had to start making our way over to Regent Street, in time to see the show at 2.30pm.
It didn't take very long to walk over, and arrived at Her Majesty's Theatre for 2pm. We went inside to collect the tickets. Dad gave the Cockney lad behind the desk his name, but there were no tickets!! Uh-Oh!
The lad phoned his manager to ask of the situation, at this point dad was about to loose his temper when the lad found them! Dad had booked the tickets online at Theatre.Com. Instead of the tickects being under "E" for 'Evans' it was under 'T' for Theatre.com!!!!
We quickly got a programme and headed to our seats. We were fairly high-up but in the middle so we had a good view of the stage!
The show went on for about 3 hours, and i recommend anyone who likes the theatre to go and see it! The costumes, the music and all of the props were excellent!
We got out of the theatre for just go 5.30 and we decided to take a awonder up Regent Street to look at the Christmas lights as it is well known for it! However, it was probably the worst decision to make as it was absolutley packed! It was like Broad Street except 10 times more people!!!
We then decided we were both feeling hungry, and headed towards the nearest underground station and headed off back to Richmond. We met up with Irene at about 7pm in the White Swan where she had already got a round in! After finishing our drinks we set off up the road to find a nice Italian Restaurant. We went into Ziggy's, a waitress kindly told us that the next available table would be in about 30mins and if we left a number they would ring us to let us know when the table was ready!!!! Now that's service!
Irene left the girl her mobile number and popped over the road for another drink. After 10mins the waitress from the restaurant rang to say the table was ready. We dashed over and quickly ordered as we were all hungry!
Irene had Tiger Prawns, Dad had meatballs and I had penne pasta with a creamy sauce with onion, bacon and chicken chopped in, the food was really nice!!
We had a coffee, and then finally heaed back to Irene's flat. We said goodbye and headed off home for Brum!
That was my final Birthday activity, and i'm very grateful for all the prezzies and gifts i have received!!
See you all soon bloggers xxx
