It's Almost Here!

Hello bloggers....

Firstly i appologise for not updating my blog, I've done my Christmas shopping (well actually i did it a while a go!) and the prezzies are all wrapped up waiting to be opened on Christmas day!

Well last week was all exciting, i had a phone call from my solicitors saying they had sent the contract for the flat on Friday night and should have arrived, all i needed to do was sign it and post it back. Surely enough when i arrived at Kieron's it was there.

Tuesday i went to the Post Office and had the contract sent back by Special Post (just incase Christmas post had started being overloaded!!)

Wednesday my solicitors phoned to confirm they had indeed rececived the contract and everything was hunky dory. They also said they were now trying to arrange with the Seller a date for us to swap contracts and complete. I was getting very excited. Anyway with a lot of hard work I will be getting the keys for the flat this Thursday (21st). It's very exciting isn't it!!!

So what have i been up to??? And the answer is - Not a lot!!

Last week (apart from sorting out the Solicitors) i didn't really do alot, just chilled out at Kie's in the evenings and watched a couple of movies but that was about it. Friday night me and Kieron decided to go out as it was 2 years to the date that we had been going out!!! AWWWWW

So we went to see 'Eragon' at the cinema, and even tho its not a blockbuster film it was actually alright. If you like fantasy stuff and your feeling bored, go and see it!!

Saturday we went into Kings Heath, our priority was to set up a joint bank account. We went to the Halifax but they were closed, so we tried Natwest. A very pleasant lady told us what we needed to bring in, and they would happily set one up for us.

I picked up a few crimbo cards i needed for family, but after that we went back to my house. Nan. We break up for xmas this week at work, which i am sooooooo looking forward to - really deserve a break.

Hopefully i should be hearing from Diane (My solicitor) when our completion date should be for the flat. We are hoping for before xmas, but we will see!!!

I'm meeting up with Rosey on Thursday to hand over prezzies and to catch up on some gossip, which i love!!!!
