"There are 14 million iPods in Rangu......."

Hello Readers

The weekly update is upon us already...

So last Monday work was very mundane and boring and i couldn't wait till 5.30pm which actually came quickly. The traffic in town was terrible thanks to all the wonderful christmas shoppers.... IT'S ONLY NOVEMBER YOU BLOODY IDIOTS!!! *Coughs* anyway..

When i finally got home i scoffed down my tea which was going cold and then i sat down and played some Mario Galaxy which is just your usual Mario game really.

Tuesday work was a bit busy, Dave was getting ready to go on holiday so i had to make sure that everything was up to date.

Tuesday evening i sat and watched some tv, including the second series of Heroes. If you have been watching the first series on the tv then you will love the second series. Me and Kieron have been downloading the episodes off the internet.

Wednesday was randomly the same although i had one of those days where by you try and do one thing but by doing that one thing you end up doing a hundred things! Ok so it may only apply to me but i know what i mean!!!

Wednesday evening was depresing with the football as i'm sure you are all aware. I mean crap or what!! But thank god that useless twit of a manager has gone. Although the most annoying thing out of everything is that fact that it cost something like £750 million to build Wembley and they can't even close the bloody roof completely!!! YOU IDIOTS, WHICH PRAT DESIGNED THAT!!!! *calms* so.....

Thursday was another stressful day at work and i couldn't wait until home time!!! I managed to dodge through the manic shoppers and to the 50 bus stop where the queue was ridiculous. The queue came out of the shelter up the road and round the corner of Marks and Spencers, i was fortunatley just on the corner and there were people that started queing behind me!

20 minutes later five 50 buses turned upwith about a 30 second interval between them, when i got home Kieron hadn't cooked anything so we went and got a chinese.

Friday work was boring but i was looking forward to the evening as we were going to see Bill Bailey at the NIA. I went a few years ago to his 'Part Troll' tour at the Hipperdrome Theatre which was really good.

This year it was the 'Tinselworm' tour. I got quickly got changed and some grub and then me and Kieron shot down to mum's to pick up Gaz and John. We made a detour over to Adam's to pick up our tickets he had left us and then into Town. Thanks to Kierons driving and knowledge of Birmingham roads we got to the NIA in plenty of time, adn we also beat Adam and Co who started off 15 minutes before us.

The show was hilarious, from doorbells to chav's it was brilliant so i'm looking forward to the dvd.

Saturday was a fairly chilled out day. In the morning me and Kieron went over to Curry's to pick up our electric hob we had ordered. When we were coming back we were followed by my Aunty Jan which was random!

When we got home Kieron's new game had arrived - Mass Effect. Honestly it was seeing a 5 year old boy getting excited about his Christmas prezzies that's how excited Kieron was. So he spent his time playing on that whilst i sat and filed away some bills. I then popped down to mums to see nan & grandad. Mum was also getting a new cooker 'cos hers had packed up. We had some wine and a cake.

I set off for home about 4pm just as the cooker was being delivered. Gaz also came back round to have a look at Mass Effect and Mario Galaxy. But before he could come into the flat he had to change his tyre as he had had a blow out coming round the corner of Lazy Hill.

Gaz stayed for half an hour before shooting off over to Adam's.

Me and Kieron had something to eat adn then went round to Steve and Natalie's as we had been invited round. Kieron was showing Steve Mass Effect and me and Natalie were having a good girlie chat, ranging from the Royal Family to Weddings. Hmmmm. Anyway we had a good night and a good laugh and left about 11pm.

Sunday was a dull day. We did our shopping and then had some lunch. Kieorn and me then decided to tidy up a bit 'cos the flat looked like a bomb site. Then we just chilled out for the rest of the afternoon before i went down to see my nan.

Well that's it from me so until next blog i will leave you with the continuation of my blog's title (this was from Bill Bailey).

The Terrible Two's

Hello there everybody!!

YEp time for me t oblog once again.... so i start last Monday and at work it had finally come to the day of our Audit!

The gentleman who audits us every year arrived dead on 9am. Paul and Peter, who are in charge of the audit process, spent a good hour taliing to him in the meeting room and then they got down to business!

Paul introduced me (even though i've met the guy four times) as the QA Assistant, to which i was very proud to be! They then disappeared upstairs for the rest of the morning. I went and fetched them their sandwhiches for lunch and some choccies and snacks.

The day went by quickly and before i knew it i was getting the bus home. In the evening i watched the usual tv and went to bed.

Tuesday was my birthday and i turned an honourable 22! Mum came round in the morning and we went to see my nan and dad called in aswell. We stayed there for an hour or so and then went over to see nan & grandad. We had a little drink and went on our way. We didn't have long because mum had to be in work that afternoon (thanks to a big mess up at her office!) so we went up in to Northfield and had a nice mooch round. Mum ended up buying me a necklace and earring set to wear for Ladies Evening. But soon time ran out and we got back to the flat for mum to pick up her car and be on her way.

So i decided not to waste the day and decided i would go shopping in Town! Now i've never done the shopping by myself thing apart from when i'm at work and need to get something from Town but that's only because i know what i want!

So i was feeling very brave, i also took one of Kieron's games for him 'cos he wanted to trade it in for Call of Duty 4. So i got to Town and set off for Gamestation to do the trade-in. After completing that i went back into Bullring and started having a mooch.

I didn't do too badly although Town wasn't a brill choice as it is now filled with Christmas shoppers from around the globe - seriously, the French, Germans, Italians, Americans, Japanese/Chinese and a few Ozzies are here in Brum doing their Christmas shopping!!! I know, mad isn't it!?

But anyway i ended up in the Animal shop and spending my money in there and bought some really nice tiops.

So with my missions accomplished i set off back to my car. On my way home i needed to pick up some cakes for work and i decided i would pop back to see my nan to show her what i had bought ('cos she loves to know!) i bought her a cake as well and spent an hour with her before going back to the flat.

I started the tea ready for Kieron to arrive home becasue we were going to the cinema to see Elizabeth - which i really enjoyed and recommend!

Wednesday work was quiet but we still had plenty of work to do. In the evening i went out with dad and Gareth to a pub called the Fleur De Lyse which is very nice. We had a meal and a coffee (although dad and Gareth had a pudding aswell!) We had a nice time having a chat mainly about Ladies Evening - to which my dad informed us that there was going to be a celebrity speaker this year (to which my brother asked if it was Santa!)

Thursday was dull and boring, work was hectic and in the evening was just the same.

Friday work was dull but hectic. In the evening i watched some of Children in Need, had a bottle of wine, watched Kieron play on his xbox and went to bed.

Saturday was a good day, in the morning me and Kieron went over to Curry's to have a look at electric hobs for our cooker, and ordered one. We came back and had something to eat. I then went to see mum, nand and grandad but i didn't stay long as i had to get ready for Ladies Evening.

Kieron dropped me back at mums for 5.50 but then had to go back because i had forgot my necklace!! We then went to pick up Donna who looked really pretty in her dress andd then got down to dads. We had some piccy's taken whilst waiting for the taxi to pick us up.

This years theme for Ladies Evening was 'Moustaches and Tiaras' I had a tiara with had flashing lights on it, Gaz had cut and shaped his beard (please see his blog for photos!) and dad who has had a moustache for over 30 years just gave his a trim!

When we arrived at the Chataeu Impney i was telling Donna about what normally happens etc when dad called over to me and told me to wait, which was odd. So everyone else carried on whilst i waited for dad, we then went in, i hung my coat up and went to grab a drink off the waiters but dad told me i hadn't got time. We got into the main reception and dad told me to close my eyes. He lead me all the way to the back of the room and told me to open them.

It was Neil and Lisa who i used to know from Jofson. Lisa was the sales administrator when i started at Jofson and we became really good friends and Neil owns his own transport company who i've known for years. It was so good to see them both.

It wasn't long before we were called in to the main room for our meal. We had salmon for starters, followed by leek and pea soup. For our main we had lamb and all the veggies and roasties. Desert was a cremé brulee followed by coffee.

During the meal we played the 'yes or no' game where by someone asks you questions and you musn't say 'Yes' or 'No' one lady off each table had to last 30 seconds, i was picked off our table!!

If you succeeded you got to choose a prize from a numbered box. I did manage to succeed but in my box there was an energy saving light bulb!!

Then came the speeches followed by the best part of the evening 'the interuption'. This year the lads were dressed up as hula girls and did a little dance (very embarrasing!) but hilarious at the same time!

The rest of the evening was spent enjoying the disco and having a little boogie! It was an amazing night and i didn't get back till 2.30am

Sunday was a nice day me and Kieron did our shopping. We then went and saw his mum and dad for a bit as we haven't seen them for awhile.

We then popped into Cotteridge to have a look at dvd's in Blockbuster and i ended up buying Super Mario Galaxy which is brillaint, just as fun as any other Mario game.

That evening me and Kieron popped over to see Steve and Natalie. We stayed there until about 10pm and went to set off home although that was an event in its self as it had snowed. We managed to get back and went straight to bed.

And that's it for now so see you next time!

Birthday Blog!

Hello to you all once again!

Wow it is nice being able to log back in to Blogger without any hitches.......

So on to my blog and what a good week i had.

Last Monday, work was fairly quiet but we had a lot of sorting out to do because it was only a week to go before we had our practice audit!!!!! Paul who is our QA Manager was in a bit of a mess so good old me dived in and helped him (i have now been named as QA Assistant!!!)

It was basically a day of sorting out and issuing lists of things we needed to do! That evening i chillied out just watching telly.

Tuesday, work was pretty much the same thing just sorting and organising.

Wednesday was a fairly hectic day at work because we were behind schedule!!! Argh! But Wednesday evening was full of laughs because i went to see Alan Carr (co-host of Friday Night Project for those who don't know who he is).

I left work a couple of minutes earlier as i was meeting my Aunty Jan, cousin Rachel and some of their friends from work in The Newt for something to eat before heading on the train to Wolverhampton. My dad was also coming but we were meeting him there.

I had steak and chips for my meal which was ok but not brilliant. We had our meals and finished our drinks and headed to New Street Station. We only had to wait a couple of minutes before our train arrived at the platform and we were on our way.

We also a had a random nutter sitting next to us he was from Denmark (although he sounded Polish to me!) and he apparantly he was looking for a job that paid extremley well for doing sod all even though he had no actual skills or talent in anything!

We eventually got to Wolverhampton and made our way to the Civic Hall. Once inside we got ourselves a drink and made our way to our seats. 20 mins later i had a phone call from dad to say he had arrived so i went and found him and showed him where we were sitting.

Alan Carr came on stage for about 8pm and he was hilarious he did about an hour stand -up before having a 20min break and then did another hour. We got out of the Hall for about 10.30pm and made our way back to dad's car.

I got home for just gone 11pm and Kieron was already in bed fast asleep!

Thursday was another manic day at wrok trying to finalise all the stff for the audit. Thursday evening i sat and watched tv and chilled out.

Friday work was the same as all week but not as stressed for some reason. But that evening i went to Sweet Chillies for my birthday meal. Whilst i was getting ready Kieron went and picked up Steve and Natalie. Gaz then turned up as he kindly offered to drive us. We got to the restaurant for 7.30pm and Rosey and Dan we already there so we went and got our table.

Emily and Jim soon arrived with balloons!!!!

It was a pleasant evening with fun and laughter! We left the restaurant and went back to flat just for a quick drink before Steve and Natalie went home.

Saturday was a weird day - i don't know why but it felt like Christmas! anyway in the morning i went and had my haircut but becasue Kieron had to do a few things as well he dropped me off at the hairdressers and i would walk back to my mums house where he could pick me up!

I got to mum's house, but she was in Scotland for the weekend so i went in and said hi to Gaz. We were discussing Ladies Evening which this years theme is 'Moustaches and Tiaras' (don't ask me why). I've already sorted out my tiara and Gaz was pondering about his moustache so i went and got an eye liner pencil so he could draw (on his face) what kind of design he would like!

We spent a good half an hour at it before Kieron came and picked me up. We then went to town so we could get my birthday prezzie ready for Tuesday!! Kieron had decided he was going to buy me an Aston Villa shirt! So we headed straight for the Villa shop and had a look round, but decided i would have our home shirt!

Kieron then wanted a couple of new tops so we went in Burton and he got just what he wanted!

We then popped in to Sainsbury's to do our weekly shop before going home and relaxing for a bit. A bit later we then went to the Cinema to watch Ratatouille. It was really good and funny.

Sunday was a nice day i got breakfast in bed as a little something from Kieron for my birthday. He had done me a full breakfast with orange juice and a cup of tea and when i had finished he poured two flutes of champagne which had a strawberry at the bottom of the glass.

A bit later on in the day we had some Bailey's ice cream which was yummy and Kieron made me lunch!

That evening i went down to see nan but me and Gaz left earlier than usual because we had to pick mum up at the airport. She landed on time and it wasn't long before we saw her with her suitcase.

By the time we got home i was knackered so as soon as i got back to the flat i went straight to bed!

And i think that's it for now so until next time - tat ta!

I'm Back In Business!!!!!!

HELLO!!! Oh my God it's nice to back once and for all!!!

Well i do apologise for my 3 week delay in blogging, my computer i use at work has been having problems but i think it's been sorted (we will soon find out!)

Now because it's been sooooooooooo long i will do my very best to remember what the hell i've been doing for the past few weeks!!!

We will go back to the middle of October on Tuesday the 16th October in the evening me and dad went out for a meal, just for something random to do. We went to Nando's in Touchwood, Solihull. I had a pita bread stuffed with Chicken and salad and lots of sauce it was really yummy!

On the Friday we had our new plotter delivered to us at work it was HUGE!! We plugged it in, set it up and away it went.......for 30mins before it started chewing up and spitting out the paper. So it was boxed back up and sent back and we've decided to stick with the one we had!

Saturday 20th - in the evening, me, Rosey, Dan went round to Emily's house to watch England vs South Africa in the final of the Rugby World Cup (yes i'm sorry to upset you all again but i am only trying to catch up!!).

As we all know we lost but fair play by the lads (better than the god damn football!). Emily made a curry (except me, she made me a chicken carbonara 'cos curry can set off my IBS which is not nice!). After the meal and the match we set up my Nintendo Wii and had a good bash on that before heading off home about 11pm!

Sunday 21st - i watched the F1 final to support Mr Hamilton but yet it just wasn't England's luck (although i'm glad Alonso didn't win it!!)

Kieron also got a new game for the xbox - called Eternal Sonata - it's an rpg but it's all about the polish composer Chopin! (my musical knowledge has helped him out quite a bit!!!)

So on to the week beginning 22nd October!

Work has been fairly busy, we have an audit on November 12th and we have all been running around to get things tidied away and sort things out!

Wednesday me and mum had the day off to go shopping for the day. We set off at 9am and got to town for half past. We had a quick bite to eat and a cup of tea before walking round Bullring. I was looking for a new dress for Ladies Night and mum was looking for a nice chunky cardigan!

We spent ages looking and mooching around all the shops, mum found her nice cardy in M & S, £30 and it really suited her. And i eventually found a lovely black, sparkly number in Wallis' for £40.

We didn't get home until 4.30pm, so mum had a quick cup of tea and went home.

Saturday 27th October, Kieron went out with Stuart and some of his mates for Stuart's Stag do! I dropped him off at the Packhorse and then went down to see mum, nan and grandad.

We had our usual wine and cakes and had a good natter. It was nearly 4pm and nan and grandad decided to go home so me and mum decided to go to Notcutts to see the Chrismas decorations (we do it every year, and every year we never buy anything!)

We had a good wonder round looking at all the pretty lights and tinsel and the christmas trees. We only stayed an hour before going back home, i dropped mum back and Kieron called me and asked me to pick him up.

He had decided he would go on to Moseley with the lads and wanted to put on a different shirt. So we whizzed back home, ironed his shirt and rushed him back again to the Packhorse.

I went back to the flat and had something to eat whilst watching X Factor (yes i know its sad but someone has to watch it!). I quickly got ready as i was meeting Rosey and Dan at the Reservoir. We had a good catch up, they had been out the night before and they both looked a little bit tired. I stayed about an hour and a half as Kieron needed picking up from Moseley, so i said my goodbyes and went and fetched the poor bugger!

So last week, Work has been incredibly busy as we are still sorting out the things for our audit. On Wednesday (Halloween Night) it was Lydia's birthday but she was out with her mates so she had invited us all to a meal on the Friday.

Thursday 1st NOVEMBER!!! I can't believe how quickly everything has gone and it's rapidly approaching my birthday!!!

Friday night was a good night, i picked up Gaz about 6.50pm to go out for Lydia's meal, and then went down to dad's (after stopping off to get money and for me to back home because i had forgotten Lydia's card!)

We set off (with me driving!) to Henley to the Arden. After driving up and down the high street to find a parking place, we decided to park in one of the pubs car parks and then walked back towards the restaurant.

We were introduced to Lydia's housemates Laura and Mel (who are both very funny and lovely!) and then sat down to order.

I had a chicken dupiaza with fried rice and a naan and it was really nice (but really filling!) We were all having a chat and a laugh before heading back to Lydia's house. It was really nice and very big!!!

We stayed a couple of hours before going home.

Saturday was a fairly busy day, me and Kieron quickly went into town to get Kieron a new pair of trousers and new shoes as we were going to Stuart and Becky's wedding that afternoon but Kieron's suit didn't fit him anymore.

We spent a good couple of hours walking round with Kieron getting annoyed with people but we managed to get a nice pair of trousers from River Island and nice shoes from Scotts!

We got home and relaxed before getting ready. We left the flat at about 2.50pm and headed back towards town. We parked near the symphony hall and walked over to Brindley Place as the reception was at All Bar One. We got there and went upstairs and found Stuart and Becky. We met up with a couple of people who we hadn't seen for a while so it was nice to have a catch up. We had some food from the buffet adn another drink but we didn't stay too long as we didn't know that many people so we left about 5.30pm. We got home and watched some tv for the rest of the evening.

Sunday was a nice peaceful day we did our shopping and tidied up the flat and did the usual household chores! We finished off the bottle of wine we had left over and spent the afternoon doing sod all!!

Well i think that's about as much as i can remember so hopefully i will see you next time!!!!
