Am I Coming or Going?

Well hello once again people, the weeks just keep flying by!!

So what have i been up to...well....

Last Monday at work my day was cut in half as i was chosen to deliver some drawings to a planning consultant in Solihull so i got on my 50 bus back towards home, got in my car and drove to Solihull. I have been to the offices once before so i knew exactly where i as going (good 'cos i hate getting lost!)

Monday evening because our hob now worked we decided to have egg and chips it was the best meal i've had in ages!

We then sat down and decided to watch Fantastic 4 on dvd.

Tuesday work was really quiet, some of lads were out on site as it was a handover day (basically when we hand the keys to the tenant!). Finally it came to 5.30pm to leave but i knew i wasn't going anywhere when i saw the traffic. I sat on my bus in town for a good 45 minutes before moving anywhere!! But i amazingly got home just in time for my tea.

After i had my tea i quickly got changed and went down to my nans as dad had come back from America the previous night and he had some prezzies to give us.

He bought me and my brother a t-shirt from the Harley Davidson factory - very swish! I stayed for about an hour and then went back home as i was knackered.

Wednesday work had picked up abit which i was thankful of, as it meant my day went by nice and quickly (even though it was spent doing filing!).

Wednesday evening me and Kieron had a chippie night, which was yummy! And then we watched boring tv.

Thursday was pretty much the same as Wednesday to be honest which is very dull and boring so i will quickly move on to Friday because...

........ it was a first Christmas meal with Armstrong Burton.

We left our offices around12.15pm, me, Paul and Tony went in Peter's car and everyone else followed with Malcolm.

We got to the restaurant Pier 39 around 12.45pm. We ordered drinks and sat having a chat. It wasn't long before people from Armstrong Burton arrived and sat down for our meal. The meal itself wasn't too bad apart from there could have been more of it!!

The drinks kept coming and soon it was absolute bedlam, we were singing and laughing (although the waitresses weren't!), there was decorations and poppers everywhere - it was a good laugh!

After dessert we moved from the tables to the bar area before moving on to the Aprés bar round the corner, although i decided i had had enough by then so me and Mike walked down to the train station.

I got into Kings Norton station for about 5.30pm where Kieron was waiting for me in the car park. Still being hungry and Kieron having had no tea, we called into the Chinese!

For the rest of the evening we watched the usual tv, before going to bed.

Saturday and it was mine and Kieron's mini anniversary of being together - 3 years! We weren't doing anything special for it but we wanted to be together.

We went and did our food shopping in Sainsbury's and started to pick up items for Christmas. Once we got home i started putting the shopping away whilst Kieron did some lunch for us. Kieron's dad Tony called in with our Christmas cards and he stayed for awhile and had a cup of tea!

Me and Kieron had lunch and then went over towards Aston where his friend Alex now lives to see his house. It's a lovely semi-detached and very well decorated. His girlfriend and their baby were there as well as they had just started to move their stuff in.

We stayed a couple of hours to have a catch up and a gossip before heading back towards home to see Steve and Natalie - phew!

We had a good laugh and watched Team America which is brilliant! Very slapstick but funny! We didn't leave theirs till gone 12am - i was shattered!

Sunday morning me and Kieron went and saw my nan & grandad for abit as we didn't see them Saturday afternoon. We had a cup of tea and a little tipple and then we went and saw mum & Gaz for the same reason.

We had a little drink of Baileys before going home to prepare our Sunday lunch. We had Roast Beef with all the trimmings and it was delicious.

Later that afternoon me and mum popped round to see, Gill, Alf and Craig as we had cards for them and we hadn't seen them in a while! Aunty Gill is really funny and me and mum were laughing within seconds!

I quickly called back home before setting out again to go down to nans for tea as usual!

So i think that's me update so untill next week - cheerio!

All Wrapped Up and Nowhere to go - Yet!

Hello there people

My update is upon us already, so......

Last Monday work flew by without me even realising! Honestly i got to work, made myself a cup of tea, turned my computer on and then shortly after was turning it off and getting ready to go home! Weird!

I got home and had a shower whilst Kieron finished serving up our tea. We then sat down to watch the downloaded episodes we had of Heroes. If you have just finished watching the first series on BBC and absolutley loved it, i highly suggest downloading series two off the internet - it gets much, much better!

Tuesday was a good productive day at work, i felt like i had achieved alot. Tuesday lunch time i went into town and yes i finally finished my Christmas shopping - woohoooooooo!

That evening me and Kieron decided to have a chinese which was very tasty. We then watched some tv for the rest of the night.

Wednesday was a slow day at work - booo! I also had some bad news at lunchtime from Kieron because he had had his bank card copied and all of his oney plus his overdraft had gone! Luckily the bank have no problems with giving the money back to Kieron but for the time being he has no money!

That evening we watched 'The 40 year old virgin' starring Steve Cotrell, it was very funny and it helped cheer Kieron up!

Thursday was a good day at work. Harley (the I.T man!) from Armstrong Burton came over to fix our scanner as it hadn't been working properly lately and he gave us the new version of Photoshop which was extremely nice of him!

Thursday evening me and Kieron finished wrapping up the Christmas presents and wrote the cards. They are now sitting on top of our wardrobes ready to be delivered. I'm getting very excited about Christmas as it is mine and Kieron's first Christmas in our flat!

Friday work was very quiet as most people were off or on site somewhere which meant i had to open up!

The day went by fairly quickly for a Friday and i was pleased to get home. I decided to treat Kieron so we went over to Sainsburys and bought a bottle of wine and a couple of dvd's. I bought Evan Almighty and The Fox and The Hound. We then popped into Maccy D's to get some grub.

We had a really good night and a really good laugh!

Saturday Kieron had to go into work for an hour just to finsih off something (and to make the customer happy!). So whilst he did that i called in to see my nan to make sure she was alright. Lydia was there and they were going out shopping so i left them to it and went into Kings Heath to get a few bits and pieces.

When i got home Kieron was back and was having a shower we had some lunch and then i went down to see my nan & grandad at mum's house. We had our usual wine and cake and had a nice merry time!

That evening me and Kieron went to see Steve and Natalie - and they were my first recipients of christmas prezzies! Me and Natalie had a good natter whilst Steve and Kieron shouted at the xbox. It was a good night and we left about 11pm as i was getting very tired.

Sunday was a bit busy we got up and did our shopping and then went to Kings Heath to get some wiring as Kieron's dad was coming up to help fit our new electric hob.

They had to faff a little bit to get it in but after about 45 minuted it was in and working.

Later that evening i went dwon to see nan again to have my tea. I watched Top Gear and then came back home.

And that is my blog so see you next week

Move Out of My Way Bitch!!!!

Hello there dear readers

So on with the blog, last Monday work was extremely busy, followed by a busy lunch as well as i have to admit i started my Christmas shopping. I compiled a list of what to start getting and off i went.

Well you can imagine Bullring/Town was packed full of Christmas shopper all of them rushing around, panicking as if it was their last Christmas ever!

I was in Marks & Spencers trying to find a certain present which i had seen advertised on their website. So i started hunting high and low when all of a sudden this ..... huge.....monstrous, beast of a woman came plowing into me. Seriously she decided that i was an insignificant person that she could just barge through, i ended up in a small heap within the shelving!!

So i managed to get a few things and walked back to work.

That evening my good friend Becky who i haven't seen for a while came round the flat as she had bought me a birthday prezzie. She got me a bottle of wine (always welcome) and some Ted Baker body sprays (lovely!). We had a good natter catching up on all the goss!!

Tuesday work was just as busy and once again i decided to take the risk of doing some more Christmas shopping. It wasn't so bad as i only had to go into one shop instead of walking round half a dozen!!!

Tuesday evening i met up with Rosey, Dan and Emily at the Drum & Monkey (i don't know why, but i think that's a great name for a pub!). We had a good natter even though we were all tired, especially Rosey who had driven back from Cheltenham. We all left about 10pm and when i got back i went straight to bed.

Wednesday more manic shopping to do in my lunch hour. Although this time i had the upper hand on someone. I was back in M&S and i was looking for a Disney Princess activity kit for my friends daughter (who's only 3). I suddenly saw it on the shelf and there was only one left!! The lady who was infront of me (blocking my way) was obviously trying to make up her mind whether she wanted the Disney kit or a card making kit. I could see she was indecisive but i couldn't quite get round her to grab the Disney kit, so i waited patiently watching incase anybody else tried to snatch it, but it wasn't long before she made just enough space for me to get through and grab it. Just as i grabbed it the look on her face was priceless!!! So i quickly ran towards the till before she came and rugby tackled me for it!

Wednesday evening i just sat and chilled out with my bottle of wine and watched tv.

Thursday work was the same and more Christmas shopping although i was getting through my list quicker than i expected!

That evening i went down to nan's to see my dad for half an hour as he was flying off to New Jersey to see my Aunty Susie for her birthday that weekend so i went down to say goodbye really. I had a cup of tea and a buscuit before heading back home to relax.

Friday and work had became slightly quieter and in my lunch hour i didn't do any Christmas shopping! Instead i went to tax my car! I got to the Post Office and waited my turn which was only 10 minutes, handed over my paperwork when the lady on the desk told me my Insurance Certifcate was incorrect!!!! I looked and instead of my Reg number being BK03, it said BA03!! Damn it!

Now i hadn't noticed this, but 6 months ago when i taxed my car at the DVLA office they didn't notice either (just goes to show how well they do their job!!!).

So on my back to the office i rang Admiral and explained that they had to send me a new certificate, because of their stupid mistake!

So Friday evening i spent wrapping up the Christmas prezzies i had bought and writing my Christmas cards which i really enjoy doing!! I that took me a couple of hours and then i sat and watched tv.

Saturday was a busy day, thankfully my Insurance Certificate had arrived so i went and taxed my car and then me and Kieron went into Town to finish off my Christmas shopping and to do Kieron's!!!

We got to town dead on 9am and it was really quiet. We popped into Republic and we were in there for 10 minutes and when we came out the place was packed, you could hardly move!! So we clambered around all the shoppers and made our way round the nearest of shops.

We were in Town for about 2 hours and we couldn't take anymore so we left. We had completed most of our shopping but not all of it so i know what i'll be doing next week in my lunch hour!!!!

I then went down to see nan, grandad adn mum in the afternoon for our usual wine and cake session, which is always enjoyable and i needed after the shopping trip!

That evening i checked up on my nan to make sure she was alright. By the time i got back home i was shattered so decided to stay in and watch the telly.

Sunday me and Kieron went and did our food shopping which was a nightmare. We then popped into Kings Heath to get a few bits and pieces and then we went over to Argos in Shirley to get our Christmas tree. Although Argos haven't given us enough decorations to cover the tree we will have to find some more!!!

Later that evening I went down to nans for my tea as usual, watched Top Gear and the last episode of Long Way Down!!

And that's all there is for now so see you next blog!
